Leaky Gut Syndrome IBS Dysbiosis Weight Loss Resistance

Weight loss resistance can make all your efforts feel futile. That could spiral down to depression, more weight gain, and eventually giving up. There are other ways to beat the cycle, change patterns, and restore balance.

Try the integrative Solution

  • Does it feel like you’ve tried every diet and are disappointed every time?

  • Have you tried to lose weight for years, but the scale just laughs at you?

  • Do you suffer from bloating, gut inflammation, constipation, or acid reflux?

  • Do you feel tired all the time?

  • Do you suffer from joint pain, candida (yeast) overgrowth, or headaches?

  • Is your glucose level going up?

There’s a reason why your weight is stubbornly refusing to change and your health is taking a turn for the worse. Changing your diet is one piece of the puzzle, but it’s not the whole solution. We need to address your gut health. It’s possible that you have small-intestinal bacteria overgrowth (SIBO), or the gut-flora imbalance called “dysbiosis”.

These are infections, not just diet problems. Infections like these can cause a wide variety of symptoms that often fool health professionals into thinking they’re dealing with diabetes or auto-immune disease. They may prescribe medications that miss the true cause of your discomfort. What’s worse, your liver has to work harder when you take medication – it needs nutrients to clean the drug residues out of your body (detoxification). Overtime, you can become depleted of vitamin B complex, zinc, magnesium and your need for antioxidants will be even higher. The result is chronic fatigue and difficulty sleeping.

It doesn’t have to be that way. Clinical nutrition in the form of Reflexology & Polarity Therapy Plus’s integrative program can help restore your GI health so you can enjoy a vibrant life again.

Weight Loss is Easy After the Healing

Our client Jayne had been suffering from these problems for years. Her glucose started to inch up at the age of 50. She had been carrying stubborn belly fat for years; diabetes became a concern as well. That’s when she decided to take her health into her own hands, and called Reflexology & Polarity Therapy Plus.

The first thing our nutritionist noticed was how swollen and hard her belly was. This is typical of an unhealthy digestive system. Jayne told us that she was always tired but taking naps never solved the problem. She was foggy and had a hard time concentrating at work. Regardless of how much sleep she got or how well she ate, she just kept feeling worse every day. We ran a stool test and an organic acid test which revealed the presence of SIBO and leaky gut syndrome. These problems prevented nutrients absorption and resulted in undernourishment.

Based on these discoveries, Jayne’s physician prescribed antibiotics to treat SIBO and we adjusted her diet to feed the good flora and keep SIBO from coming back; we developed a nutrition plan for her to address her deficiencies, allow her gut to heal, and lower her glucose all at the same time.

This picture [this picture is misplaced on page. It’s several paragraphs above] shows what happens when you have leaky gut syndrome. Food particles that are normally broken down at the brush border by enzymes, end up slipping whole through the damaged intestinal wall. Bacteria can also go through these spaces and reach the bloodstream. This leads to inflammation, allergies, and many other aches and pains that some people just learn to live with.
